Basketball Recap: Riceville Comes Up Short

Riceville lost against West Fork back in January of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Riceville Wildcats took a 79-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Fork Warhawks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (67), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Riceville now has a losing record of 11-12. As for West Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Riceville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Fork, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Garrigan on Thursday. Bishop Garrigan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
