What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had over her last 12 games.
In other pitching news, Avery Rushing looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Savannah Allen, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Emily Geddes, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
North Augusta kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
North Augusta has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. South Aiken's loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
