Softball Recap: West County's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

West County has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.73 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (17-2), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

West County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2. As for Fair Grove, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

West County has already played their next match, a 10-1 loss against Mt. Vernon on the 11th. As for Fair Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against East Newton on the 12th.
