With a playoff win on the line, Potlatch rose to the challenge on Monday. They blew past the Prairie Pirates 17-3. Considering the Loggers have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Potlatch got a great performance from Brieanna Winther as she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Potlatch let Hayley McNeal and Olivia Smith run wild. McNeal went a perfect 3-for-3 with six stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI, while Smith got on base in all four of her plate appearances with six stolen bases and four runs. McNeal is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jaida Andres, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Potlatch was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .542. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in four consecutive games.

Potlatch's victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
