Soccer Game Preview: Nitro vs. Scott + Official Tickets

The Nitro Wildcats will take on the Scott Skyhawks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Nitro is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of West Virginia's top teams: Spring Valley, who was ranked 14th at the time (Nitro was ranked fourth). The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday. Nitro's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Scott kept a clean sheet against Chapmanville Regional on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Tigers.

The win got Scott back to even at 7-7-3. Nitro's draw makes their record 14-0-2 this season.

Nitro took their victory against Scott when the teams last played back in September of 2023 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Skyhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
