While Ben Lippen's win against Augusta Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Lions on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 last Tuesday.

Sean Lee was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Michael Traynum, who scored two runs and stole three bases.

The win made it two in a row for Ben Lippen and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Augusta Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ben Lippen will square off against Irmo at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Augusta Christian, they will face off against Gray Collegiate Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The War Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
