Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Park). They were the clear victors by an 8-4 margin over the Willowbrook Warriors on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Lake Park, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Lake Park's fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-3-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five contests. As for Willowbrook, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Park will take on St. Charles North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willowbrook, they will host Berwyn/Cicero Morton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berwyn/Cicero Morton's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Willowbrook's offense will have their work cut out for them.
