Softball Recap: Woodland Park Panthers vs. Sierra Stallions
Woodland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 20-5 to the Sierra Stallions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 15-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Woodland Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christine Renteria, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Renteria is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last six games she's played. Pueblo Centennial will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Sierra surely won't give up without a fight.
