Lyons lost to Sterling back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Black Bears.

Lyons never let Sterling on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15.

Lyons' victory bumped their record up to 2-15-1. As for Sterling, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10-1.

Lyons wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ellsworth on the 27th. As for Sterling, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against South Haven on the 27th.
