Soccer Recap: Deer Park Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Dickinson

There's no place like home for Deer Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let the Dickinson Gators get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Deer needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Their offense was hitting Dickinson from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.

Deer Park pushed their record up to 11-7-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. As for Dickinson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17-1 record this season.

Deer Park will square off against Friendswood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dickinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
