Volleyball Recap: Geraldine Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Geraldine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Albertville Aggies. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Aggies from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-8.

Karlie Baker paced Geraldine's offense, picking up four kills. Baker got some help from Kennedy Mayfield and her four assists.

Geraldine's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Albertville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Geraldine and Albertville will both be playing Faith Christian the next time they take the court. The Aggies will host the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
