Volleyball Recap: Pine Forest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pine Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Lumberton Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-17.

Taylor Route paced Pine Forest's offense, picking up eight kills. Route got some help from Aria Parish and her 21 assists.

Pine Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Lumberton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Pine Forest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Overhills on the 23rd. As for Lumberton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Purnell Swett on the 23rd.
