Volleyball Recap: Naperville North Comes Up Short

Naperville North was the 2-0 winner over Naperville Central when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell just short of the Redhawks by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. While the Huskies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Redhawks 25-21 in the first set.

Naperville North started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Naperville North's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Naperville Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Naperville North is set to square off against their familiar foe Metea Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Naperville Central will face off against rival DeKalb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
