Basketball Recap: Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs vs. South Granville Vikings
Durham School of the Arts played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the South Granville Vikings, falling 74-45. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Roberts, who scored four points and three steals.
South Granville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Brown, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 20 rebounds. Those 20 boards gave Brown a new career-high. KJ Terry was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine assists.
Durham School of the Arts dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for South Granville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
