Volleyball Recap: Technology Titans vs. Calistoga Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sonoma Academy, Technology was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged the Calistoga Wildcats out 3-2. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.
Technology took Calistoga into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 20-25, 15-25, 15-8.
Leading Technology to victory were Ashlynn Hogan and Amy Guido. Hogan had six digs and three aces, while Guido had four kills, three blocks, and three blocks. What's more, Guido also racked up two aces, the mostshe's had since back in October of 2023.
Technology's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Calistoga, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
