Football Recap: Canton Warriors vs. Northwest Area Rangers
Canton had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Northwest Area Rangers 42-6 on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Northwest Area lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jace Mccoy, who threw for 123 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 57 yards.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canton will venture away from home to square off against South Williamsport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest Area, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
