Flag Football Recap: Strong Performance on D from Leah Aguilar and Jazmyn Harrell Leads Leuzinger over Beverly Hills

Leuzinger's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Beverly Hills Normans a 12-0 shutout. The Olympians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Normans, too.

Leuzinger's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.5 points on average over those games. As for Beverly Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

The future could be bright for both Leuzinger and Beverly Hills: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Olympians will look to extend Centennial's four-game losing streak when they meet at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Beverly Hills will try to hand Hawthorne their fifth-straight defeat when the two meet on Wednesday.
