Brentwood has gone 6-1 against Pinewood Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Brentwood War Eagles will challenge the Pinewood Christian Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Brentwood is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Last Friday, Brentwood earned a 42-29 win over Gatewood. The War Eagles pushed the score to 42-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Gators cut but never quite recovered from.

Cadence English was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. Bailey Barron was another key player, putting up four points along with ten rebounds and five blocks.

Brentwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Pinewood Christian entered their tilt with Westminster Schools of Augusta on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They secured a 47-43 W over the Wildcats.

Brentwood is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Pinewood Christian, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Everything went Brentwood's way against Pinewood Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Brentwood made off with a 56-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brentwood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
