Baseball Game Preview: Tabernacle Christian Rams vs. Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles

The Tabernacle Christian Rams will venture away from home to take on the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tabernacle Christian has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tabernacle Christian came up short against Fayetteville Street Christian on Monday, falling 11-5.

Tabernacle Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gage Carpenter, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Carpenter has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Camden Lindsay was another, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Woodland Baptist Christian gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won by a run and slipped past Fayetteville Street Christian 7-6. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The victory got Woodland Baptist Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Tabernacle Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
