Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Shaw vs. Archbishop Rummel

Archbishop Shaw is 1-7-1 against Archbishop Rummel since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Raiders at 3:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Archbishop Shaw faced off against Benjamin Franklin on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Archbishop Shaw's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Rummel faced Brother Martin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 4-3.

Archbishop Shaw's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1. As for Archbishop Rummel, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 12-5-2.
