Softball Game Preview: Wapahani Raiders vs. Cowan Blackhawks

The Wapahani Raiders will face off against the Cowan Blackhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wapahani will be strutting in after a victory while Cowan will be coming in after a loss.

Wapahani is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Monroe Central by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Golden Bears: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Cowan lost 14-1 to Union County on Wednesday.

Cowan has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. Wapahani's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8.

Wapahani beat Cowan 6-3 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blackhawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
