Softball Game Preview: Thrasher Rebels vs. Aberdeen Bulldogs

The Thrasher Rebels will venture away from home to face off against the Aberdeen Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Aberdeen took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Thrasher, who comes in off a win.

Thrasher will bounce into Friday's match after beating New Site, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Thrasher had just enough and edged out New Site 7-6.

Delancy Sartain made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits. Sartain was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brailey Bryan, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to Tremont.
