Soccer Recap: Center Place Comes Up Short

Center Place was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Plaza Heights Christian Academy Lions. Center Place were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Center Place's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Place will challenge Kansas City East Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clinton Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th.
