Soccer Game Preview: Westwood vs. Diboll

Westwood is 2-8 against Diboll since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Westwood Panthers will be playing at home against the Diboll Lumberjacks at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Westwood is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to Hudson.

Meanwhile, Diboll's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against Hudson, falling 4-0. The Lumberjacks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Diboll's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Westwood took their victory against Diboll when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 5-2. Will Westwood repeat their success, or does Diboll have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
