Basketball Recap: Sweet Grass County Comes Up Short

Sweet Grass County lost against Red Lodge back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sweet Grass County Sheepherders took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Lodge Rams. While losing is never fun, the Sheepherders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Rams are ranked 27th).

Sweet Grass County has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Red Lodge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

As of now, neither Sweet Grass County nor Red Lodge have any future games scheduled.
