Rosemead had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Monday. They blew past the South El Monte Eagles 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Rosemead walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-18.

Zijia Daniel Lu paced Rosemead's offense, picking up 12 kills. Lu got some help from Ethan Trieu and his 28 assists. Trieu was also solid from the service line: he led the team with 13 aces.

Rosemead pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for South El Monte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Rosemead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against El Monte on the 16th. As for South El Monte, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Gabrielino on the 16th.
