River hadn't done well against Caldwell recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Pilots managed a 44-39 win over the Redskins. This was a revenge game for the Pilots: when they faced off against the Redskins back in December of 2025, they had to take a 56-34 loss.

Several Redskins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Guiler Preston, who posted six points and ten rebounds. Preston has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times he's played. Gentry Brown was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The victory made it two in a row for River and bumps their season record up to 13-6. As for Caldwell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-5 record this season.

River and Bridgeport will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Caldwell, they will be playing at home against Frontier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
