Del Oro is 8-0-2 against Rocklin since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Del Oro Golden Eagles will be playing at home against the Rocklin Thunder at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Del Oro is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Whitney on Tuesday. Del Oro fell 2-0 to Whitney. Considering the last time the Golden Eagles couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Rocklin kept a clean sheet against Jesuit on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Marauders. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Thunder were the better team in the second half.

Del Oro's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2. As for Rocklin, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-4-2.

Del Oro beat Rocklin 2-0 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Does Del Oro have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rocklin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
