Soccer Recap: Clewiston Find Success

On Friday, the Clewiston Tigers had just enough and edged the Immokalee Indians out 2-1. Even though the Tigers got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jaylin Velasquez was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

Kamyrin Herring and Bailey Berner scored both of Clewiston's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Clewiston's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-3. As for Immokalee, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clewiston will square off against Pahokee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Immokalee, they will face off against LaBelle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
