Sutherland is a perfect 10-0 against Batavia since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Knights will host the Blue Devils at 12:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Batavia will be up against a hot Sutherland team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. Everything went the Knights' way against Mendon on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Sutherland was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-9, 25-19.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Batavia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on Brockport with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. Batavia not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Batavia's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Sutherland, their win bumped their record up to 30-2-2.

Sutherland took their victory against Batavia in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
