Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richwoods). They blew past the Centennial Chargers 76-29 on Friday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Chargers are ranked 486th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory snapped Richwoods' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-10 record. As for Centennial, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richwoods and Dunlap will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Centennial, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lincoln at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lincoln will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Centennial surely won't give up without a fight.
