Volleyball Recap: Elmwood/Plum City Takes a Loss

Elmwood/Plum City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Clayton Bears. The Wolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Aurora Sampair paced Elmwood/Plum City's offense, picking up six kills. Sampair got some help from Polly Webb and her 13 assists. Webb was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Elmwood/Plum City's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Clayton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Elmwood/Plum City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Menomonie on the 30th. Clayton has also already played their next game (against Northwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
