Baseball Game Preview: Waynesboro Indians vs. West Perry Mustangs

The Waynesboro Indians will head out on the road to square off against the West Perry Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Perry took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Waynesboro, who comes in off a win.

Waynesboro is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Greencastle-Antrim on Tuesday as they made off with a 14-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, West Perry was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell 4-0 to Boiling Springs. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

The victory got Waynesboro back to even at 7-7. As for West Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Waynesboro came out on top in a nail-biter against West Perry when the teams last played on April 14th, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
