Volleyball Recap: Jocelyn Torres' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Klein Collins over Klein Oak

Klein Collins came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Klein Oak Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Panthers since October 8, 2021.

While Klein Collins had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 25-23.

Klein Collins lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jocelyn Torres, who had ten digs. Christian Kemper also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Klein Collins has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-18 record this season. As for Klein Oak, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 32-10.
