Jackson had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over the Strongsville Mustangs  on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Polar Bears sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
 Jackson was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-16, 23-25, 25-11,  15-11.
 Leading Jackson to victory were  Alece Evanto and  Maren Evanto.  Alece  had 31  digs and three  assists, while  Maren  had 13  digs. Alece has been hot, having  posted ten or more  digs the last eight times she's  played.
Jackson's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Strongsville, their defeat  ended  a  four-match streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 20-5.
 Looking ahead, Jackson will host Mentor  at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Strongsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
