The Knightdale Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Southeast Raleigh by a score of 42-39. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Knightdale in their matchups with Southeast Raleigh: they've now lost nine in a row.

Knightdale's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Andrea Watkins, who scored 8 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Melody Bryant, who scored 14 points.

Knightdale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Southeast Raleigh, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Knightdale will square off against Enloe at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Southeast Raleigh is on the road again on Friday and play against Mercy at 5:40 p.m. on December 8th.
