Football Recap: Capital Golden Eagles vs. Owyhee Storm
Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owyhee Storm. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.
Although Capital took the loss, they still got scores from Marcellus Clay and Jackson Smith.
Capital's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Owyhee, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Capital will square off against Borah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Owyhee, they will welcome Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
