Southern Guilford was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cornerstone Charter on Wednesday. The Storm never let the Cardinals get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Storm, who have now won six matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Southern Guilford has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Cornerstone Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Southern Guilford has already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Atkins on the 4th. As for Cornerstone Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 14-6 win against River Mill on the 3rd.
