Flag Football Recap: Portal Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Portal's offense. They came up short against the Grovetown Warriors on Thursday, falling 25-0. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Warriors are ranked 11th).

Portal's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Grovetown, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Portal wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-0 loss against Long County on the 3rd. As for Grovetown, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-0 victory against Pace Academy on the 30th.
