Basketball Recap: Sheldon Comes Up Short

Sheldon lost against Rock Valley back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sheldon Orabs might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 62-55 to the Rock Valley Rockets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Orabs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Rock Valley, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sheldon will take on Estherville Lincoln Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Sheldon is facing Estherville Lincoln Central at the right time seeing as Estherville Lincoln Central is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Rock Valley, they will challenge MOC-Floyd Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
