Basketball Game Preview: Foxfire Phoenix vs. Columbus Torah Academy Lions

The Foxfire Phoenix and the Columbus Torah Academy Lions will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Foxfire has five straight victories, Columbus Torah Academy has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Monday, Foxfire strolled past Non Varsity Opponent with points to spare, taking the game 55-36.

Meanwhile, Columbus Torah Academy played a tough matchup on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 73-35 loss at the hands of Genoa Christian Academy. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Columbus Torah Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Foxfire, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Foxfire didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Columbus Torah Academy in their previous meeting on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 48-42 victory.
