Softball Recap: Legacy Lightning vs. Holy Family Tigers
After flying high against Rocky Mountain last Tuesday, Legacy came back down to earth. The Legacy Lightning lost 10-2 to the Holy Family Tigers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lightning of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Prisca Smolens was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with a home run.
Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Holy Family, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
