Lake View is 9-1 against Chicago Academy since August of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will take on the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lake View took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Senn by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Lake View never let Senn on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Chicago Academy took on Alcott on Thursday. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats.

While Chicago Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22.

Lake View's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Chicago Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-2-1.

Lake View beat Chicago Academy 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
