Basketball Recap: Hazen's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to 30

Hazen put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Twinfield Trojans 71-32. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hazen pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Twinfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

When Hazen and Twinfield next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Hazen will square off against Enosburg Falls and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hazen's defense has only allowed 27.6 points per game this season, so Twinfield's offense will have their work cut out for them. Similarly, Twinfield will try to stop Richford's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
