Waynesville finds home court redemption against Madison

There's no place like home for the Waynesville Spartans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 51-43 victory over Madison on Friday. For Waynesville, this counts as revenge for the 57-44 defeat Madison walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
When it comes to explaining why Madison lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aiden Grooms. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. Gavin Fayard was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Waynesville's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Waynesville will head out on the road to face off against Brookville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Brookville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday. As for Madison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Franklin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Saturday.
