Caiden Root gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Houston is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 9-10 otherwise.
