Soccer Recap: Southside vs. Douglas
Southside had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Douglas Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Friday. Three seems to be a good number for Southside as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They hit Douglas with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from

Camren Thompson, and
Alex Mullins.
The win was the third in a row for Southside, bringing their record for this year to 25-2-1. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7-1.
Southside is on the road again on Wednesday to play Guntersville at 7:00 p.m. Guntersville's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
