Basketball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

If Aurora was feeling good fresh off their 89-47 takedown of Wyandotte last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Aurora Houn Dawgs fell to the Shawnee Mission West Vikings 56-52.

Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Shawnee Mission West, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6-1.

Aurora will square off against Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shawnee Mission West, they will take on Blue Valley West at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Blue Valley West will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Shawnee Mission West surely won't give up without a fight.
