Bowdon and Mt. Zion are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2021, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Red Devils will get right back to it and host the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bowdon has six straight wins, Mt. Zion has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

While Bowdon's victory against Manchester wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Devils skirted past the Blue Devils 53-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since December 13, 2025.

Meanwhile, Mt. Zion lost to Atlanta Classical Academy at home by a 44-27 margin on Wednesday.

Bowdon's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Mt. Zion, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.

Bowdon got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in January against Mt. Zion by a conclusive 61-38 score. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
