Norwood's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Ridgway Demons. The win continues a trend for the Mavericks in their matchups with the Demons: they've now won four in a row.

While Norwood might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Ridgway scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 24-26, 25-18, 27-25.

Darcy Bray paced Norwood's offense, picking up nine kills. Bray got some help from Josey Tedder and her seven assists. Tedder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Norwood picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-9. As for Ridgway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Norwood has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Dove Creek on the 26th. As for Ridgway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Dolores on the 27th.
